     Eric Jason Wood, 35, of Peoria, passed away at 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
     Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria. Cremation rites will be accorded, following the visitation.
     Eric was born on May 14, 1979 in Peoria, a son of Bruce and Benita (Weeden) Wood. His mother preceded him in death.
     He attended Limestone Community High School and assisted bands and venues with concerts. He enjoyed bonfires, shooting, collecting coins and guns, NASCAR racing, Chicago Bears football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
     Eric loved Rock N Roll, The Brian Dennison Band and spending time at the family farm. He was outgoing, big hearted, easy going and was always there to help others and lend a hand.
     Memorial contributions may be made to the Eric Wood Memorial Benefit at CEFCU.

My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)
